In "The Lord of the Dark Ones," you can choose the race, sex, name, alignment, and class of the protagonist (= yourself). The following are the process of character creation:
1. Decide race
(1) Human: humans are crafty and full of vitality.
(2) Dark elf: dark elves are aggressive and gifted in magic.
(3) Orc: orcs are sturdy and strong-minded.
2. Decide sex
(1) Male
(2) Female
3. Name yourself
The following is the list of default names. You can also input any name you like.
(1) Male human: Shadow
(2) Female human: Grace
(3) Male dark elf: Araneus
(4) Female dark elf: Nephila
(5) Male orc: Howl
(6) Female orc: Warg
4. Decide alignment
(1) Good: you can't choose evil classes
(2) Neutral: you can choose both good and evil classes
(3) Evil: you can't choose good classes
5. Decide class
(1) Good classes: paladin, cleric, ranger
(2) Evil classes: blackguard, necromancer, stalker
