Hey everyone,

Kaboth has raised an interesting problem regarding not being able to access parts of the site on his mobile, apparently some of the message boards are too lengthy. One of the main problems at the minute is this site isn’t really designed to be accessed on mobiles, it looks clunky and there are some obvious issues. There are a number of reasons I haven’t concentrated on mobile development, time is a big factor but mainly because XAS users, by their very nature are PC users. Sadly you can’t work on your XAS games while you’re on the move but having said that I do recognise the need for a mobile version of the site that is easy to navigate and catch up on your XAS news – these may eventually take the shape of 2 separate sites.

The blatant truth is, I have become too busy and the site has become too big for me to handle alone so I’m looking into the possibility of opening it up to some users who wouldn’t mind helping out.

My plans for the future include:

Breaking the message boards down into monthly instalments – with the past month’s questions and answers being copied into an easier to read format and possibly woven into the XAS Manual so all the info will be available in the one place.

For example: Someone asks a question about an error they’re getting when they load their game and someone points out that they’ve forgotten to add a graphic to the Troops tab – this particular Q&A would be found in the enemies Q&A section of the XAS Manual.

Got any thoughts or ideas on how to improve the site?

就目前来说，网站的内容对于移动设备来说，是非常冗长的，
是否需要考虑用手机访问这个笨重的网站，实为当下的主要问题之一。
对于没有扩大再移动平台上发展，其重要原因之一是时间..
只不过就XAS的用户们而言，全部都是PC端的RPG Maker用户。

可悲的是，你的XAS不能正常工作了，你却仍然因为工作、旅游等无法回来，
那么移动版本的XAS网站平台就显得尤为迫切需要，

同时，发展一个对现代来说很重要的移动式信息平台，
可以方便的提供道行，以及发布用户们可能会感兴趣的新闻等等，
诸如此类，我准备最终采取 两个独立网站 的发展方式。

然而赤裸裸的真相是……我实在太忙了……
而现在这个网站更是只有我一个人再单独打理，
所以即使我对外开放了，没有人愿意帮助我的可能性非常大，

现在我对未来的计划是这样的：
每月分期处理的留言板将取消——每个月都会把留言板上的问题与我的回答整理好，
复制成一个更容易阅读的格式，并可能编入到XAS使用手册中去，
为此，所有的信息将可能集中到一个地方。

比方说，
有人提的一个问题是关于正当他们测试到游戏的某一节点时突然想到，
忘记添加数据库中的敌人队伍那一栏的图形，从而出错
——这类Q&A自然可以在使用手册中找到答案。
