Since I noticed a lot of people are bringing this up and I got permission to talk about it, here's the current situation.
A lot of the memory issues are related to the way Pixi is implemented and Node.js
We're working with @Hackerham who is also working directly with the Pixi developers. Pixi4 is under development and once that is done (within the month of March) the update for RPG Maker MV will happen after.
So what does this mean?
> RPG Maker MV will jump from Pixi2 to Pixi4 immediately. This will also fix inherent bugs that can be found in Pixi version 2 and 3.
> This will in turn fix a lot of the issues RPG Maker MV is facing and to some extent, some of the memory leak causes.
> This update will most likely happen in Version 1.3.0.
> If there are other issues, for example, sound lag still isn't fixed, then we will proceed to fix that too. So it means, don't report or complain to us about Sound Lag in Version 1.1.0 to 1.2.0 since we will try to fix it in 1.3.0 once we're sure PIXI isn't also the cause of that.
> There is also a plan to implement Steam Workshop. But we want to focus on fixing a lot of issues in MV right now.
We are aware of the issues and a lot of it is playing the waiting game. So for now, please hang in there. 作者: fyqinpku 时间: 2016-3-16 00:17
