Engine: RPG Maker 2000

Synopsis:
The story takes place in a region of an orthodox medieval European-style fantasy world. The game is based in the town where the player's chosen character lives, the story progresses by exploring the vast ruins that spread underneath the town. The exploration of the ruins (aka dungeons) features a different system from other RPGs, the system is similar to gamebooks and TRPGs, with a focus on the text. There are many puzzles in dungeons, and there are many ways that the player can solve them.

There is a lot of freedom in the game, and the main character has a number of different backgrounds, as well as a number of solutions to problems throughout the game. In some cases, it's even possible to kill off characters who are supposed to be your friends or rivals, which can alter the game's story drastically.

Features:
1. The game story and outcome can be changed drastically based on player's character background, player's character's gender and player choices.
2. There are many party members in the game but you can only have 3 characters at one given (except in escort missions or special scenario), Some characters are good at unlocking chests/doors, some characters are good at diving, some are good at decrypting ancient books and monuments etc,also the NPCs would react differently depends what character are in your party.
3. The game is around 40 hours long (assumes that you don't do any side quests) for ONE play-through. There are 8 characters (4 backgrounds) in the game.
4. The game features a really different exploration system that's similar to the old TRPGs games.
5. Crafting, Cooking, Fishing, Woodcutting and even Mining.

I'm the image editor of the team, we currently have 4 Translators who are native Chinese speakers, 1 Tech Help, 2 testers, 2 editors (one of them is the team lead)

3. 游戏一次玩完大约40小时（假设你不做任何支线任务）。游戏中共有8个角色（4个背景）。
4. 游戏的特色是一个非常不同的探索系统，类似于老式的TRPGs游戏。
5. 工艺、烹饪、钓鱼、樵夫甚至采矿。

Sorry for making it confusing. You're right, the game has already been translated into Chinese from Japanese. We're currently translating the game from Chinese to English, the reason being that we already have two native Chinese speakers on the team plus the Chinese version of the game has RTP included which means it'd be much easier for us to make the game run in English locale and display ASCII characters.

文案定稿是中文的么？如果定稿是日文的话，应该是直接从日文翻译到英文更好。。。

Thank you for replying, actually I have stated above the reason why we're translating the Chinese version instead of the Japanese one. The Chinese version has the RTP build-in and it allows us to modify it to display ASCII text and run in the English locale, also we already have 3 translators on our team who can understand Chinese and plus there are additional contents added to the Chinese version.

谢谢你的回复，其实上面我已经说了我们翻译中文版而不是日文版的原因。中文版本内置了RTP，我们可以修改它来显示ASCII文本，并在英文地区运行，另外我们团队里已经有3个能懂中文的译员，再加上中文版本还增加了一些内容。
